Google Translate and DeepL: Breaking taboos in translator training

In recent decades, when we read about the use of machine translation, were told that it was not suitable for professional translation. The reason translation used to produce poor results as long applied controlled language pre-edited texts within a specific field specialization, and with post-editing target text, all using appropriate specialized tools.
 However, three considerations led us want assess what extent could be in German-Spanish/Spanish-German Specialized Translation course, since observed that
 1) despite warnings, students made translation,
 2) Google Translate newcomer DeepL improving their results, and
 3) short, computer-assisted uses secondary help tool, although always by human translator.
 As translator trainers, planned an opportunity teach focus on how diagnose errors means proficiency both mother tongue foreign language. this work Spanish-German texts, which poses many challenges usually requires reviewing deepening grammar class. Our aim is contribute didactics teaching prevent analyzing handling critical mind, order improve linguistic competence.
